Skilled Nursing
Nursing Care is provided by a Registered Professional Nurse for teaching, observation and procedures that require the skills of a nurse. Nurses are accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Physical Therapy
Licensed physical therapists and physical therapy assistants to rehabilitate and maximize functional abilities generally related to muscular, skeletal or neurological illness.

Speech Therapy
Licensed speech language pathologist to provide treatments to improve communications skills and swallowing disorders.

Occupational Therapy
Licensed occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants to improve fine motor skills for daily activities, such as eating, grooming, dressing, homemaking, and bathing.

Certified Home Health Aide
Certified Home Health Aides to provide personal care services, such as bathing, shampoo, skin care, and assistance in exercises and mobility with regular supervision.

Medical Social Services
Licensed medical social worker to provide counseling in long term, short term, and community resource planning related to medical need.

A notary public is also available to witness the signing of legal documents, such as advanced directives or medical power of attorney.

Are you eligible?
Eligibility for our services is based on the following:

  • Patients residing in Jefferson, Berkeley, and Morgan Counties are accepted.
  • Medical diagnosis certified by a physician and based on a plan of treatment.
  • Specific criteria from your insurance company (if applicable).
  • No age requirements.
  • Patients needing skilled and intermittent care.

Panhandle Home Health, Inc. is Medicare certified. Reimbursement is accepted from Medicare, Medicaid, and other private insurance companies. Referrals are accepted from any source. The patient's physician will be contacted to determine appropriateness for home health care services.
