Panhandle Home Health has current openings for a full-time, 40 hour per week RN positions. Our nurses go into a patient’s home to provide and direct one-on-one physician ordered skilled care to patients who reside in Berkeley, Jefferson, and Morgan counties. Potential for further education in wound certification exists.
Candidates must have a current WV RN license as well as current CPR certification. One year of experience is preferred but will consider LPN experience or less than one year of RN experience depending on acute care work history. The position is paid hourly and travel is also reimbursed. A typical day may be drawing labs, providing/teaching wound care, educating patients/families on disease processes. Home health is an ideal opportunity to use a wide variety of hands-on nursing skills. Regular hours are 8a-430p. Weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage is scheduled on a rotating basis and may average 3 days per month.

Panhandle Home Health has an immediate opening for the full-time position of Intake Nurse. The successful candidate must be an LPN with a current WV license in good standing.
Qualifications include exceptional computer skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment! The Intake Nurse is responsible for responding to referral sources timely, receiving referral demographics, and gathering all necessary information in order to initiate home health services.
Hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm with the possibility of occasional overtime.

Panhandle Home Health is seeking a full time or part-time PT to conduct physical therapy visits in patient’s homes. PHH serves Berkeley, Jefferson, and Morgan counties with the greatest need in Berkeley County. The qualified applicant may elect to be a full time or part-time employee with an hourly compensation or an independent contractor with PHH to provide the necessary services on a pay per visit compensation model.
The position is very flexible allowing for early or late start and stop times to your day and the ability to work remotely from home. Physical Therapists are a vital part of the overall care plan for patients receiving home health services following an acute care hospital stay for reasons such as post-op care, joint replacements, neurological disorders, etc. The focus of PT is certainly home safety and fall prevention in a patient’s very own home setting where it matters most!!
